Join the Slough Slingers for their 4th Annual Blind Draw Doubles/Double Elimination Tournament. Horseshoe history is happening at the Tachi Palace Casino and Resort.

The shoes are going to be banging away at the poles to win the biggest payout in the sport of horseshoes.

Day 1 (9-19) Partners Tournament: Start the weekend with a Bring Your Partner Tournament.. All games are to 21 points, double elimination.

Entry fee is $60 per a team.
Pays 1st through 3rd places.

Day 2 (9-20) Blind Draw Doubles Tournament: This is a history making Blind Draw Doubles/Double Elimination Tournament with the biggest payout in horseshoes. All games to 21 points, double elimination.

The entry fee is $50.

Day 3 (9-22 ) Blind Draw Doubles Finals: The finals is where the last 16 teams will battle for the huge pot. These games will be recorded and globally televised at a later date.

How it started - the family

The Jeff family and tribal members of all ages all started playing in their backyards at the Santa Rosa Rancheria, Lemoore CA.

Everyone would “sling” the shoes from 40 feet. Slinging from 40 feet was a family tradition that is passed on for generations. Laughter, competition, great food, and amazing family time was spent pitching shoes.

The Slough Slingers were raised watching Big Blue and Uncle Ned Jeff hit the circuit competing and winning tournaments while making new friends. The club name, Slough Slingers, is a tribute to the peaceful slough that runs along the banks of the Santa Rosa Rancheria.

The Slough Slingers launched their first tournament 09-17-22 and blew up the horseshoe pitching world. The Slough Slingers want their guests to experience their family tradition built on a mutual love for the game.
